Silk Filled Comforter - Winter Season Weight

The Gingerlily winter weight comforter is the perfect natural choice for those colder winter months and for those individuals who prefer a fuller comforter option.

As silk is a natural heat conductor and a breathable fibre, the silk floss filling adjusts to the body and to the ambient temperature of the room. By trapping air next to your skin, the comforter keeps you warm and provides a comfortable and restful night's sleep. It is filled with the finest quality pure long strand mulberry silk. As silk is naturally hypoallergenic, it is ideal for allergy and asthma sufferers.

Our winter weight comforter has buttons and small ties on its sides and corners. It can be buttoned together with a summer weight comforter or an all-seasons weight comforter for tailored warmth as required.

Product Care

Silk is a luxury fibre and you should always protect your silk filled duvets with a removable washable cover. If properly covered, silk filled duvets should almost never require cleaning. Unlike traditional bedding Gingerlily duvets are free from dust mites and as you don’t perspire using them, it should be unnecessary to thoroughly clean them. To keep your duvets in the best possible condition, we would recommend that they are aired once or twice a year during the warmer months, on a line outdoors. Please always check the care instructions on the label.

Detailed information:
Spot clean: Use a special stain remover
Professional launder: At low temperature (no higher than 30°c)
Detergent: We recommend Liquid Silk Wash or any other mild silk/delicates detergent
Drying: Air dried or tumble dry on a very low temperature/cool cycle if needed
